Hey guys,

I really need to get Rocinante back on the road ASAP. Buying a donor truck tonight after work and then leaving town for a week. When I get back on the 21st, I'm going to do everything I can to get the donor delivered to my house in Glendale on Friday, the 22nd.

Come Saturday, the 23rd, I'm really going to be up against it, looking to yank the engine (and transmission?) out of Rocinante, pull the engine (and transmission?) out of the donor, and install into Rocinante. In other words, I've got 2 complete trucks and will be moving the engine/transmission from one into the other, which currently has and engine/transmission installed.

Could I do this myself? Of course, but I've never pulled a G54B, and I figure 3-4 of us working together could make this happen in one day. I'll buy pizza, beverages and have an EZ up for a little shade.

Cross streets are 51st Avenue and Thunderbird. Thanks in advance.

It's been a lifetime since I had a Montero or had to do anything under the hood of one but I can show up and spray Scrubbing Bubbles on things and take orders.. plus after getting all tired and greasy we can install beer.exe at Charlie's

Drink preference? It's hot out, if you've got a pitcher of unsweet tea I'm sure we're solid. Cheap beer's good, though we can cheap beer it up on after, too.

If needed I have a pressure washer I don't mind bringing, let me know if you need me to bring any other tools, stands, etc.

I don't have a hoist. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Wait, I thought Mtn Dew was the unofficial beverage of the AZ Crew. Did something change?

They gave us and then took away the pink one. This cannot be forgiven.

Before that they gave us and took away the orange one a bunch of times. This also cannot be forgiven.

Anyone remember like 15 years ago they gave us Blue Shock or something for like a week, I think only LT and I got to try it. It tasted like Jesus slushie, then 5 years later they made another blue one that made you vomit instantly. Sad state of things.

It's like when Taco Bell stopped doing Black Jack and Volcano Tacos, and the veggie Cantina burritos. I didn't quit them, they quit me.
