Well I sold the 1995 SR- I have decided I never want to deal with a 6g74 motor with all it's issues. Well I took my daughter to Orlando (UCF)yesterday. I ended up going through about 12 quarts of oil before getting home. Tonight started to tear down the front. Seems to be crank seal- I still have to remove a couple of the little bolts that hold the cover and the crank bolt. LOL we had the truck packed to the roof. Plus the giant bean bag on the roof.

I'm sure it was just the seal that took a crap on you but maybe do a compression test just to make sure your rings are ok. Blown seal could be do to High crank case pressure.

With over 300000 mile on it and was driving 80mph I am sure there was some pressure. Plus this is the truck that broke it's crank bolt and may have some chewing/groves on crank. Was the crank seal.

In my experience the good thing about a front crank seal leak is that it makes the crank pulley easy to get off. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
