Some of you know me and some of you do not. I used to be active a lot here. It was 9 years ago today that Hurricane Katrina hit. Katrina changed a lot of things in south Louisiana. For a lot of people it changed where you lived. It changed where you worked. It changed where you go. It changed what you do. It changed who you know. It changed the landscape. It changed the community. It changed EVERYTHING.

Over the years it has become mostly memories. Everything has turned to a new normal. Sometimes you still miss the way things were. Sometimes you wonder what it would be like if nothing happened. Sometimes you think about who you know now because of it. About what you do or where you go. Today, for the first time in a long time, I thought about it a lot.

Two and a half years ago my wife and I had our first child. That is a whole other life changer. 10 weeks ago we had our second. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" />

Here are some pics from back then. I have been wanting to take some before and years later pictures. I want the same shots to compare. I need to take a weekend and just do it.
