Alright - Finally getting around to installing the Weber. Thank you to everyone on the board for your help thus far.

Am I seeing backwards...? The throttle linkage and fuel inlet seem to be oriented incorrectly. The throttle linkage should be on the back, with Choke facing driver fender, and fuel inlet should be on the front side of motor. It's as-if they assembled the top half of the carb opposite as intended (at least for this application)

Obviously when you rotate the carb. the linkage is working in reverse...Strange - Any ideas? I was going to contact Redline in the morning.

Body Damage is Cool
Did the kit come with installation instructions? I would assume there would be something included with the kit to make the throttle cable work properly, as well as instructions on how to put it together.

It does include instructions - Generic instructions, the install is very straight forward though.

It's not a problem really, I'm going to leave this as-is and just route the throttle linkage to work. I've seen a few Mazda B2600s with the carb oriented like this.

They do make 32-36 Weber carbs that are the mirror image, DGEV vs DFEV. Maybe check with the manufacturer of the kit to see if this is the correct setup.

Redline Montero kits are sold both ways:
the K610 vs the K614

The K614 DFEV kit for the auto trans probably has the linkage in the close to stock location.
