Apparently he's been paying attention all these years. I'm so proud. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

1988
Rebuilt motor with a clearwater head.

Who knew that knucklehead would do something smart? Of course his decision was made with my tutelage.

Of course it was Rich. But he hasn't had the finest track record in recent years, as I recall.

88-89 are the best two years. A Clearwater head just puts on the icing. Remind your wise son to verify the cooling system is up to par, as that may have been the reason for the new head in the first place.

So...does it run? I mean, does it RUN?

Need to replace the front strut mounts but yes it runs pretty nice. It holds its temp too.

Rich, I can't believe it. I used to own that car!
Did he buy it from a guy named Johnny in OKC? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

yes he did. Johnny said he got it in AZ. Funny because I told Johnny I probably know who he got it from.

That car ran real good back about 5 or 6 years ago when it was under my watch. The slotted nose is a dead give-away.
This car also has the SHP package w/ the optional 9" rear & 8" front rims. Glad to see it has a new home. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
