Monte3 has graciously invited JBFP to drive his StarQuest, assuming he'd bring his Camaro along to trade a ride in. John has already been kind enough to allow me to drive his Camaro (although that was pre-supercharger) and I still owe him a drive in my turbo Miata in return. I'd love to drive a properly functioning StarQuest myself - maybe we need to organize a Montero meeting without our Monteros, to trade drives in our fun "alternative" vehicles. Does anyone else own something sporty and fast that would be interested in trading drives just for the experience?

I hope you're all wearing Depends, because you're going to have a pants accident the instant you understand that the realization of this proposed event would result in one or more lucky parties taking a ride in a 2001 Saturn.

Hold in your bricks though for a second because I'm not done: driving my Saturn wouldn't merely put you in command of 99 of His Majesty's finest horses, neigh! This is the DOHC Saturn SL2 which reins in a whole 128 of the most brutally angry, vindictive, METAL horses in this or any solar system and gives you exclusive control of them through a cable operated, zip-tie reinforced Command Lever Interface Tool(TM) or C.L.I.T. as it's known in motoring.

Performance upgrades include:
  • Newly adjusted rear drum brake adjusters
  • Premium grade gasoline residue from that time I put premium in it several tanks ago

Because of the extreme high performance this piece of racing history exhibits, aspirant drivers need to complete a six day training course in Finland under the close supervision of Tom of Finland. Participants graduating from this course with Summa Cum Laude honors will also be granted access to the "turn off the A/C" switch which doubles available horsepower at the wheels.

!!YOU COULD LIVE YOUR DREAM!!

The "sporty and fast" qualifiers were not there by accident. I am enjoying the quality of the responses though. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

The supercharger wasn't on it when you drove it, Ryan? Time flies, I guess, since it's been on for 18 months.

Monte3 has a couple of other cars...Ask him if he still has the GTO with the 6.0l; that's a fun one. I know of at least one other one, too.

One day I'll get my long-hibernating 2.6l turbo up and cooking. Not that it would be any "fun," but it would be more "fun" than most '87 Monteros, I'd wager to say.

Alright WW, you can try my 105 HP car if I can try power machine. Just remember my rust is real so don't push on those spots because a hole may develop.
