I mounted mine by the driver side rear tire. Note that sometimes I get a loud hum sound if the rubber hoses touch any metal, so you will want to prepare for that. To be honest, I think I could have done a better job, but I have plans for EFI, so all of this will be removed someday. Here are 2 pics, not great, but will give you an idea. Also, it did get better when I used the rubber isolators between the pump and the frame. I got them from napa. IIRC, I think I found that running my regulator at 3psi worked best for me.
