I posted a while back that my Raider would only start and run for a few mins, it started when I would be driving and all of a sudden it would just shut off, it would sit for a few hours and start up again and I would drive the rest of the way home. Then it kept happening more frequently until it would only idle for a few minutes in the driveway before shutting off. I replaced the coil, spark plug wires cap, rotor and plugs, I replaced the little black power unit as well as most of the corresponding wiring so i know we have good connection there I still would get the same result. After letting it sit for a few weeks I decided it was time to take further action so I had my ECM rebuilt by AvPro in Florida. The turn around time was awesome, I would recommend this guy (Nick) to anyone. Anyway I got the ECM back re-installed it and fired up the raider, I drove it around for two days with no issues, would start and run no problem. Until last night it died on me again! I let it sit and it started back up after about two hours, I still don't understand what would cause it to just shut off so randomly? I drove it today and after it was warmed up I tried to kill it by jiggling some of the wires around the coil, kept running. The other thing was is that it was raining rather hard last night, maybe i should take a spray bottle and lightly spray around and see if water has anything to do with it dying? Im lost right now, much like before, any ideas?
