Sorry if this has been answered, but in my search I couldn't find it.

What size tires can I put on a 91 Montero without having to do a lift or mods? Any thoughts or lookouts?

Thanks in advance!

Trimming front bumper ends and twisting up the torsion bars. That's all.

Bone stock I have LT265/75r16 on Toyota double spoke rims. When you change sizes, change the speedo gear. I had to use the 24 tooth gear. Dead on now.

Blacktero: 90 Montero Lwb V6 RS Model. 16" Toyota Alloy Rims, Dual Bouncy's; Gen II Front Rotors & Calipers; Rear LSD

Sraider: 87 Raider 2.6 base. Work yet to be done.

With my old gen I...
- I went from 225/75r15's to 31x10.5 (nothing extra done)...
- I then to 32x11.5 on 15x8 rims (let tires trim the rubber end caps of the oem bumper, and torqued the torsion bars)...
- I then went to 33x12.5 on the same 15x8 rims but torqued the torsion bars a bit more plus upgraded to 2" longer coils in back)
