Make sure you locate that vent far enough forward on the hood - too far to the rear and the high pressure area that develops at the base of the windshield while driving will actually push air back into the engine bay through the vent. Pressurizing the engine bay means that cooling air won't want to flow in through the radiator and you'll have created a serious problem with your cooling system - not something you need with a G54B.


Will do, i bought a long narrow one with angled vents for that reason mostly, i'll also use the stock intake tube hook up to route a piece of ducting under the header pointed upwards to force air out of that vent while driving on the highway. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" /> hope it werks. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />
