OK ...I'm confused ..But thats easy to do ...LOL..

So is this the RunningBirds Monty ...????

Where is the turbo motor ...?

Yup, turbo engine went into TOASTY's 78 Arrow

We went halfsies on the truck, he wanted the engine, I wanted a rig. It was win-win!

Good to see the motor get used ... It came from me out of a 88 I parted ... It was 88k miles ...I did cam chains reman TB ..seals ...And more ... And the head had something done to it by the first owner it was very clean under the valve cover... It should be a very good motor... I bet the Arrow will realy move out with the 'turbo steam shovel motor' in it ...

Pretty excited about this car.

LT had talked about getting an old Colt for a DD at one point. Would be cool to have a small collection of classic Mitsu's in addition to all our Monteros.

Haztoys, do you have any pickups you'd sell? Preferably first gen and without a motor or trans smile

No not right now ... Just sold a 89 gen1 X-cab with a SSM in it very cool and a yellow 2wd 79 ..Theres a gen1 4x4 up here snow plow and white trash camper shell . for $2000.... That would look good on you ... ..

What do you want ...? .. If I place a add on C/L for wanted 'Mitsu truck" I'm sure I'll get 300 replys ..LOL..Been there done that...

Dont you have enough 'toy' young man ... ....

Good to see you enjoy the Arrow ... You were not wanting a Arrow ..Would a truck grill fit ..? An Arrow kicked butt in SCCA rally in the 80's

A truck grill might fit a Fire Arrow, i did find a grill for my car but i haven't bought it yet. The car is growing on me, i kind of settled on it because it was cheap and i had passed on some better examples of what i had really wanted (1st or 2nd Gen Colt Galant GT or Starwagon) due to rust or a higher price. I'm over it, i can get on to one of those after i'm done and bored of the car for now though it's getting this swap done and i'll see how i like it at that point.

I'm looking for a nice 1st Gen pickup to rebuild my pickup with, as for my "Toy" collection i'm cutting back. The ultimate plan is for one nice daily driver CAR and my two trucks. I'll get there.

Maybe i'll try the Craigslist wanted ad for a pickup, would be nice to find an original Mitsubishi badged Gen 1 SPX pickup.
