So...heads pressure tested fine after broken timing belt. I'm going to pull the valves and check them with a dial indicator and replace the seals. FSM says I need MD998443 to keep the lash adjusters in place during disassembly. Is there a cheaper alternative? Can I get by without this tool?

I can tell you fasteddy always recommend taking apair of scissors to latex gloves. Just use the finger tips to hold them in place.

If it's like the 2.6 set up I use a bike tube cut into 3" sections or so
