The factory fender flares I have are a textured plastic. When I wax my rig some wax gets on the flares and you can get it out (you can kinda see it in my photo on top of the front flare). Does anyone know a trick to getting this wax out of there?? Thanks

Get some Turtle WaxÖ black chrome. Works wonders.

Also, using any tire dressing works pretty well.

Peanut butter works also.

try an old toothbrush. It seems to work well to get wax out of seams between panels. I've never tried it on the flare, but I figure it would work.

I had this same problem and I ended up using 303 Protectant--it's like Armor All except w/o silicon. Now whenever I wash the Runner I put the protectant on all my plastic trim and it makes it look just like new.

just wipe the peanut butter off with a towel or cloth. i think its just the peanut oil that does the removing, the paste wipes off just like the polish that you're trying to remove
