I have an article from Car & Driver that suggests Rubbing Alcohol... might be a bit cleaner than Penut Butter.

I also use a product called Meguier's (or maybe it's Mothers... one of those two) Back to Black... works great on all the trim.

I have used the "back to black" and it works for about a week then the wax shows up again. Like it is stated above, use peanut butter!

I'm surprised you didn't mention "Forever Black". I bought some based on your recommendation.

I guess it's a dye. (Actually with the applicator I suspect it might be shoe polish.) But I found it to work beautifully!
