That's pretty badass! BIG turn-out, I guess the great weather and low gas prices help make that easier on everyone too.

I was up this morning debating heading out to join the fun but it's a good thing I didn't

On the plus side I have a new radiator now smile

Speaking of lower gas prices helping, it's true. While $1.5/gal less than it was just 6 months ago might not seem like a lot over 10 gallons, just think, $20 versus $35 for an afternoon of fun buys all the snacks I need, plus a fourty or two of Colt 45. Now THAT works...every time. AmIright, Monte3?

Yeah, that link works great. There are some pictures that are landscape and some portrait, but nothing my neck can't handle, ha ha.

I may be able to get another version of the group shot from the 12 year old Ivan from his phone that looked pretty good yesterday when he showed me. Then all I would have to do is figure out how to host and post like I used to know how to do...

Wish I could have made it, gents, but I've got a leaky input shaft seal and the gearbox has been shifting a bit tight lately. Ended up changing my engine oil, topping off the gearbox, airing up the tires (with my new Viair 88 compressor!), spraying out the carb, and installing some LED gauge lights.

Also did an oil change on the Juke. Ended up costing almost $200. Climbed under the Juke, cracked the 19mm loose and thought, "Funny. Easy as oil changes are, this seems a bit *too* easy. Sure as shti. I drained the CVT. I keep telling myself it was due in another 6,000 miles anyway, but damn, ya know?

Next time!

I can't wait to see that grande finale hill climb event!

I was telling driggs last night this tripe was some of the most fun I've ever had wheeling and it's just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks for the hospitality guys. Growing up in the midwest I've been limited to small private and state land, illegal land use or paying $30 to get into a 400 acre park full of rutted out trails and can opener rocks purposely designed to take your doors off.

this was some great softcore southwest wheeling porn for all my friends back home.

Mild to wild, Alpha, this place has it all. And all for free, unless you get all crazy and buy an AZ State Trust land permit, although I've never seen anyone get a ticket for not having one, and not all the land is AZ S.T.L. We weren't on any the past two trips.
