Hi guys, sorry didn't check earlier. I was going to do a full rebuild and got it all apart, took to two machine shops and they both said that crank and head are worn out beyond repair. Crank and pistons are all loose, on head cams ate through aluminum and loose as well. Dirt in the oil pan i think is sand mixed with oil, maybe it got there from dipstick tube. But oil was horrible when i checked it after got out the mud, apparently on the spot oil change didn't help.

This morning i got 3.5L engine from 99 momntero but entire oil pan is different. I've searched all around Ohio and nothing exact same as mine, extremely weird and kinda scary.

My plan is to swap oil pans, pick up tube and maybe oil pump if i can't use the one on the engine, get it in the truck and see if it runs. If all goes well i'll leave it until summer for in depth rebuild like head gasket and things. Timing belt is a maybe at this point, if it's good than i'll leave it, if not i'll have to do it. The reason i don't want to do complete timing belt is because if i have leaky seals i dont want to damage new belt.
