Fixed Castle up, for the most part. He stopped by yesterday and we put his truck up on the jack and hit all the front grease points with the gun. Seemed to us like the noise was coming from the passenger side lower ball joint. Neither of the lower ball joints readily took grease and I didn't have any spare zerks to try out, but I did manage to get some grease in them. I drove it around the block, over some speed bumps and through some right and left corners and it seemed to be much less noisy.

The front steering and suspension seemed tight. We checked for any steering slop and wheel bearing play. He needs new shocks, and as usual, I suggested KYB Gas-A-Just. You might look at the KYB MonoMax, but only if you're going to be carrying a heavy load inside pretty much all the time. Like I pointed out, all 5 of the Monteros that were here (except Matt's) yesterday have the Gas-A-Just on them.

Took the pressure washer to the underside and knocked off some trail dirt and he was on his way, after we got an earful about Astro vans. You'd almost think Matt really likes them or something.
