Have you done anything to see how well these things work? Check out youtube. Raider. Pajero. Montero. I have been wheeling these since 2008. I feel like a newbie compared to some of the guys on here, but I have wheeled mine hard enough that the biggest local jeep club let me become a member. I am the only non-jeep in the club, and it has some 250+ members. You are trying to do this cheap, but any SAS you do is not going to be cheap. Even if all the labor is free. Jeep axles, Toyota axles, They won't be geared properly to go with everything. Stock in these is 4.62 man. it sounds like you have access to a welder.Get some manual hubs. If you can't find any at your local junkyard, order them from a guy here on the board, his name is plh. He gets them BRAND NEW from over in the Far East during his business trips. After you get those. weld up that front differential. That is going to makea huge difference in your wheeling abilities. Do you know for sure that it DOES NOT have the LSD (limited-slip)differential in it? Is there a faded orange sticker in the drivers door opening anywhere? Have you changed the fluids in the axles/differentials? If so, if it a LSD rear axle, you have removed all the stuff in the differential that makes the LSD work. Forgeta bout all that flex talk that goes on among jeepers.
