No confusion needed. The 8" rear diff LSD from the Starquest, Montero, and Mighty Max / D50 = same part. And, yes, can be used in the front 8" diff found on Gen I V6 Montero and MM.

J...is this the Madera McDonald's unit? If so, was sourced from an 87 Raider I had.
