The only plug "I" know you can pay aftermarket is the IG plug.. Mother Mitzu my have them for a price.. ...

I just got a plug from GM for a late Caddy...$178.00 four wire plug ...Blooody hell ... ? .. Then Boeing Aircraft sells me 13 wire plug for $80 bucks ..You tale me ...

Mongo said at the started of this about other Mitzu's having the same pugs ...He's right ... I have lots of died Mitzus arould me ..I just go looking under hood tell I find what I need...Most dont have lots of Mitzu's around sorry to say.. I just found the 89 dizzy plug on a 99 Sport V6... I never look what I pull parts from .."sorry"..I will start doing that ... Now DSM and Mitzu Co are at not the same as sort ... Do to Dodge as part of DSM parts were farmed to others ... Not a fan of DSM wiring and try to not plunder from them for Mitzu Co vehicle wiring repair..DSM makes Mitzu Co wiring look goooood ... ICM and MASS plugs and ECU caps die on DSM's ...But not on Mitzu Co vehicles ... Now kids these cars all came from Mitzu stock so any and all wire crimps could die at anytime...KevinC said about 'pins to plugs' .. very much clean all pins .."I" will give the pins a 2deg twist that way they seat good .. Make sure the wires are not 'backing out of the plug' when you plug them in ...

IAC and TPS are both new. When i bought the rig the last owner had screwed up the ECU plugs so horribly I was forced to cut them out and butt connect donor plugs in their place. Even though they are marine grade heat shrink connectors I believe the problem (bad crimp) lies therein. It was really tight working in there. I had to remove the front seat and the center console just to squeeze my head and arms under the dash.nThe heater core is ready for replacement and since i'm taking the dash out anyway the plan is to remove the butt connectors and solder the ECU plug wires for better conductivity.

I've noticed under the hood that sometimes if I move a plug the engine will falter. I know a few are past their prime and have breaks near the plugs and are surely corroded within - hence the impending "wiring tune up". I have an old beat up harness. Maybe i'll take the plugs with me and just start checking other vehicles at the boneyards. New kid, too much work and moving into the new place has all my time taken up. I was hoping someone might have compiled a list of good donor vehicles for plugs. If I find them I'll compile a list and post it.

The reality is that the hesitation is so slight and so intermitent it is barely noticeable. I rebuilt this thing from the ground up so I can be a bit anal about the little things. No sense in stopping at anything less than perfect after all the time and energy invested. Besides, I love this rig and it deserves all the tlc i can manage.

Thanks for the info guys - keep it coming.

When I was messing with the fusible links, I found them extremely oxidized. Pretty much went overkill, but cut off the fusible links and the oxidized primary wire inline with it and put in fuses and circuit breakers.

Fix the wiring harness... The wiring is coming and going and spiking the ECU .. Not much to do to the ECU .. Clean the pins at the plug ..The 'Mitzu Co' ECU are real good .. Its the A$$ kicking the wiring plugs give it over time that DOA's the ECU..

The Back of the key you can buy and dig in there and repalce the 'key back' and 'Haz switch' ... Other then those two the 'in cap' wiring seems to hold up ..

Fuse links as Mother Mitzu do work fine ..Once there new at $5.00 and the fuse holder is cleaned up ..

Mongo on searching the forum ... You must be 'almost' AZ Crew conscripe by now .. Search by 'name' on who know what under AZ Crew...

Have a good day
