Funniest thing I've heard on the board in ages!
I know I've been off-forum for over a year until recently, but word had it even back in the old days of the forum that this item is long, long, LONG since obsolete! Sir, I salute your perseverance! and wish you nothing but luck!
Jim, I'm not really sure how to take your reply here. I can't really tell if your kidding, or being sarcastic or if you actually found it funny. Regardless, it's fine. I'm not offended or anything but I will say one thing. To me, it doesn't matter if a feature on my rig is obsolete or not, if I have a particular feature then I want it to work.
It's as simple as that to me. I try to salvage as much as possible on this rig because it doesn't cost me any money. It simply takes time to disassemble, clean and reassemble. And if that is all it takes then I'm going to do it. My efforts pay off too because all of the features in my rig are 100% functional.
I've also invested a lot of time in retrofitting features that my Raider was never really equipped with. I've retrofitted a factory cruise control as well as a factory air conditioning system. I'm about to wrap up two additional retrofit project in the next few days. Factory power windows and power door locks.
Of course, I'll be adding all these things to my book once they are fully documented. Besides, I'm missing about half of my recent posts and I have not included them in my book.
