Awesome build. Its inspiring. I've been on the fence about parking mine and tearing into her and making her into the truck I've always wanted her to be. An overland exploration vehicle suited for long ventures into the wilderness. Right now, with 192 k on the clock and an ever growing laundry list of "fix me's", I can not say she's ever let me down on the road and never not tackled any off-road challenge I myself did not have the guts for. This is my second Montero, following an '88 SWB. A growing family forced me to sell that one. If I don't keep my 97 LS, then maybe a '90 LWB with a turbo diesel swap would be ideal. While I do push my truck off-road, and will admit the IFS set up, the cost and labor involved far outweigh the benefit for the suspension alone. Well done however with your modifications. It's always nice to see these great trucks get the love they deserve.

Also, I have decided that if Mitsubishi decides to bring the Montero back to the U.S. in 2017, they better consult this board first!
