And yesterday...it passed. Emissions, that is. The 'bend the spring around' thing did the trick and got the linkage working again; the result was a near-halving of the NOX number without any resultant increase in the other two numbers.

I think I'll bump the timing up a little, since the EGR is working I'm not as worried about part-throttle knock from being too lean, so from experience I know it'll take up to 7 or 8 degrees BTDC.

We might just take it out on the trail today. Thinking Telegraph Canyon, trail starts in Superior.
