Need a Spot
I'm Thinking about getting a bonnet lock for the JK. I know I can get the Mopar ones through my local Service Center but I can't imagine there is too much of an issue with parts being stolen, but I know it does happen. There was one we found on ebay for pretty cheap Anti]http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181566841897?...rmvSB=true]Anti Theft Hood Lock KIT Assembly FOR 2007 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK 82213051 AB | eBay
Has anyone had experience with these and know if they're any good?

Regards
Jack

If my bonnet had a lock I'd have to leave it unlocked because I'd most likely lose the key! I keep mine secure with what I have hanging on my belt.

Essentially, the newer jeeps have a rubber latch that will not hold the hood secure and cause a noticible flutter of the hood at high speed. Days tar and Rugged Ridge both provide aftermarket latches that hold the hood secure.

As for the locking style, I agree with BigJim. I don't need another key on my key ring or to loose...
