Check the radiator cap also. I had one that didn't seal any more and the coolant would steam out past the seal once it got hot. It took me forever to figure out where the coolant was going.


So here's a new twist: I hope I don't sound like an idiot by saying this, because I might be a bit confused on the fan clutch thing, but it seems ok. It's hard to turn when the engine is off, hot or cold... Now, I took it to my buddy's shop and he put one of those radiator cap pressure testers on it and it held pressure fine. So it has a phantom leak??? And, I haven't seen any fluid in the skid plate or on the engine before or after I discovered the issue. I'm stumped...
