Yea I'm not in Maine right now. I'm in LA, unfortunately hahaha. I went to LKQ pick a part in ontario, found two '90 LWB but both had been looted. Darn... I guess if I really wanna be adventurous ill head north for a day... But the $59 for the part off potamkim.com is enticing..
I'll definitely check it out. I REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP HERE GUYS. I'll let you know what I do and if I go for the $59 whether or not it is in fact the switch.

You're in california, not maine? Where? There are 3 sitting in nor cal junkyards right now and 1 just across the border. gotta be some in s cal. check out picknpull.com row 52 don't bother with the fresno or richmond yards. some big s.o.b. already looted those rigs. and if you go to sac do it quick. i have it on good authority he's heading there next. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Oh you know, I heard from a woman up in mammoth that has an original 87 raider that there is a guy who refurbishes and works solely on monteros. Anybody know anything on that? Don't know if I'd ever take my truck just cuz I like to work on it myself, but I guess it would be good to know, just in case. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Switch is on its way to ya.
88 Montero, StarQuest turbo, Kormex 5speed +tuff-pan w/phoenix f. stage2 clutch, 4in lift+33' tires, 4.875 lsd, short-throw shifter, Aisin hubs, SR big brakes, gen2 uca's, elantra alt, and so much more... 16g turbo w/hardpipes + 4.90 locking disk-brake axle soon (maybe lsd or aussie front??)
