Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi Folks -

Seeking a number of items that don't seem to be available on car-parts, or are already picked ahead of me...

1. Window regulator handle (crank), blue interior preferred.

2. Jack handle that clips in front of the back seat AND the plastic clips to hold it.

3. A blue dash - mine's cracked in a couple of places. I'll also take advice on repair options from those who have done the job. I see products out there, but I'm looking for experience.

4. A fuel sending unit, or advice on repairing one. I checked it by shorting the connector and the gauge on the dash works. FOUND IT!

This list will get longer, I'd guess.

Thanks -

John

The 4-door gauge sender / fuel pump mount is the same.

Nice looking truck.

Does rockauto.com, oemmitsubishiparts.com or others carry window cranks? I ordered a new one from one of those sites a few years ago.

I've used a dashmat to cover cracks in the past.

No luck finding a crank as a new part or NOS anywhere so far. Several places have a generic replacement, but I'm working toward restoration over just making it work.

Thanks -

John

Thanks for the tip, Russell - That'll make it easier to find in a yard, as it seems there are more 4-doors in pick yards...

Notice the left bumper end? Found it in OR. Thanks again for helping me get back on the road.

Found one in a Gen 2 four door at a yard in Wilmington, CA. Also found a Gen 1 2-door 2.6L - pulled the hazard switch, bouncy seat, headlight washers/tank/motor, front brush guard and tail-light guards, bumper ends, tail lenses, turn signal lenses, fuel neck (someone had pulled the tank and cut the hose), and filler hose protector. Once I'm sorted, I'll get a garage sale post done.

I'd keep the Gen II wheels for the extra width...only my opinion.
