The engine fired right up and is very responsive. but it still smokes. and the valves are really loud now. they werent before the project When it warmed up i was trying to burp the cooling system and there wasn't any flow in the radiator. The upper hose was hot but the bottom one was cold. Did i install the thermosat wrong? its brand new OEM when i shut off the engine some coolant dribbled out from behind the timing cover i think . the water pump was also replaced. A good trip around Phoenix freeways will probably clear all of that up.
