Awhile back I posted thinking my sensor was off. But now it seems the light is coming on after about 40 min of normal driving. No demonic hills or towing. Just running errands. Fluid level is fine. Pump issue? What could cause this? TOASTY Trail Leader Has it ever gotten fresh fluid? also it will generate more heat if your screen is getting clogged, they are cheap to replace but they are also reusable so you could just clean it. It wouldn't hurt it to have it flushed and filled with some Diamond SP and a new or cleaned screen. It hasn'T seen much driving time since then as its a utility / fun vehicle and not a DD. Also, it got sick and was parked for about a year. I notice that when the light comes on, I can sit in idle for a few mins and the light goes off. That makes me think it is not a faulty sensor, unfortunately. I'll check the fluid again and make sure it's still pink. If it is, then I can change / clean the screen without dumping the fluid? I'll probably do another flush to be safe. It does flicker a bit, but then stays on, like the temp is "tickling" (can I use that word on a truck forum?) the threshold before it comes on solid. Then it goes off after sitting in idle for a few mins. I hate opening transmissions.
