Hello! I am new to the forum. Posted a shout out but i'm going to try it this way: I just bought a gen 1 monty and well... Love it. Besides the vbelt breaking on the way home on a 600 mile trip taking out the power stearing pump bearing there is not much wrong with it. I am OCD (or just really picky) so the time has come to fix it up properly First on the agenda is seat covers... On their way. Next the rear view mirrors. This is where I need your help. They are loose and even when they hold still for 30 secs they are useless. Does anybody have a good aftermarket suggestion to replace them with? I thought a early 90's Ford f150 mirror. I saw a build online where the owner got some mirrors from the phillipines. They look excellent but..... No link to how he obtained them or a way to contact the builder. Next will be a homebuild roof rack (will post pictures) and a brush guard - is goimg to end up being a home modification of an existing one (will also post pics) Thanks to all of you and the good posts that made me feel confident in buying this Montero.
