So glad the board is up and running again!
I've been gone way too long, but last Sunday, I drove home from Dallas (500 miles) in my new baby, and since then, have gotten the timing almost right, installed an air filter (p.o. Had a tea strainer). And gotten it to idle with the AC on. The P.O. Swapped the carb with a 1 bbl webber! Anybody have knowledge of such? The local hot rod shop said to get the timing and blocked off PCV straight before we can start working on the fuel air mix. It is too rich on idle. Waiting for my daughter at school makes me feel woozy! Probably will change all dif, trans case fluids, and oil also, the tranny (5sp)leaking a tiny bit out of the plastic neutral switch pass thru, anybody have a line on a replacement?
