However, like other forums, the image is required to be accessible from the web.

A lot of effort has gone into cleaning up the archive content to correctly display. http://www.4x4wire.com/mitsubishi brings up a wealth of the original content dating back to January 2000.

And, the Google search at the top of every page does search the forums and portal content back to 2000.

I have researched and fixed many broken links WHEN THEY ARE BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION.

And, WRT to advertising, that is what keeps 4x4Wire on the internet --- advertising income.

John,

It's cool man, you're doing what you need to in order to keep this place alive and working on it to make it better. It's appreciated.

I don't know if this forum platform will ever turn into something more user friendly to me, but the folks that seem to like this place always remind me of my friends that used linux when i was growing up. It's a powerful system, it's just not on the average-joe level. To me that's how this forum is. I have to do special tricks to make the forum work and mobile browsing is normally more of chore than interesting, often I try to do 'normal forum activities' on here that I would do anywhere else but i find myself having to go a completely different route than I expect to, and while that's great exercise for the mind, internet forums and how they work is not where I go to exercise my brain. I keep that to the areas I care about, like automotive work, wheeling, things i enjoy, ya know?

You've built and maintained this place so it probably seems to work great for you. I get that, but to guys like me, it's mostly work, with little result, to come on here for information or interaction. I hope that doesnt come off wrong, I appreciate anyone that puts this much effort into a community.
