Well, I haven't been on the forum here for quite a while. Still have the Sportage. Still have been modding, wheeling, and whatnot.

The issue I have, is that for the last several years, I have been fighting an SES. Fault code P0506.

I have replaced nearly all the sensors in the vehicle, up to and including the TPS, MAP, MAF, Chassis Acceleration Sensor, PCM, EGR valve and solenoid, and any and all vacuum lines I could find. I have back probed, disconnected, and ohm checked the entire engine harness.

The only thing that I continually get is a bad TPS signal. The sensor is receiving the proper 5v signal, and there is 0ohms of resistance on the ground side to the pcm. The sensor input to the pcm, however, will only send back .287 V when the throttle is closed. This leads me to believe that the new TPS is faulty.

So what I need is this: will someone with a properly functioning sportage check resistance between pins 2 and 3 on the TPS and record their findings? Please, before I say screw it to this motor and go for a 5.3 swap?
