So I did a search here and found a little, but not a lot.

On my 91 Montero I occasionally hear a clunk in the front kind of under the passenger seat area. It definitely squeaks here and there. Seems like the clunking is a mystery from other posts Ive read...

I lube the entire chassis per the manual. Some cracked rubber, so I know that stuff will need replacing.


As for the clunking. Could that be the lower ball joints? How can I tell?

Or do you all have other suggestions?
