Hi all, I just got an 02 Sportage for a daily driver. I'm trying to resist the urge to modify it. It sits a bit crooked. I wonder if the springs are worn out (180k miles). And the rear shocks look extremely rusty. So... maybe i'll replace the springs with taller ones and put longer shocks in the rear? Then maybe... get wider offset rims and bigger tires when these wear out? Or, perhaps, put a body lift on it and add some rock sliders?

Anyway, I've had an 87 Dodge Raider for years but it may need to be retired from on-road duty. I'm new to Kias but they seem fun. I really wanted a 2-door convertible, but I settled for the more 'reasonable' (and AVAILABLE) 4-door hard top.

Any immediate dos/don'ts etc?
