I'm more interested in replacing the interior lighting with LED's and maybe some of the exterior lights, nothing that major really.

Also something that occurred to me is that I have a keyed electrical switch that's right after the battery in terms of a circuit. NO power flows through the truck unless that switch is engaged. Wouldn't this be enough to eliminate the need for resistors? Since resistors are primarily needed to keeps the LED's from discharging with the vehicle not running.
Pretty sure this'd solve the resistor conundrum.
