Ok, so you DID do something about that. I thought I remembered you saying you were going to do something. smile I was wondering. I read the directions from NWF and basically they say pull a plug, fill the box and put the vent elbow in and run a vent line. There's no way to fill or drain the box without pulling the entire assembly. frown

Sight tube is easy enough. Still have plenty of the tube I used for Duffy's and the NP231 in the big Sport and a couple extra fittings. Need to get a couple more for the new t-case.

Ok, so you just used a pipe plug for the drain fitting? NWF uses a fitting that uses much smaller hose. Hmmmm. Dang! I was hoping to not have to involve a machine shop this go-around.

Did the Strong Box guys specify ATF or synthetic gear oil? I noticed that NWF says 80-90 full synthetic gear oil. Doesn't seem right to me. I remember talking to Duffy about this but I don't remember what we talked about. He specified the same full synthetic AFT that you normally put in a NP231.
