I have a leaf sprung 2.6 87 Montero. I know I can swap in a leaf spring sport axle or modify an SR axle but I can't find them locally anywhere and shipping is way too much.

I could either fab up a bracket like they did in the second link or, if the dimensions on the axle shaft mounts are the same, use some of the conversion kits available. Does anyone happen to know the mounting dimensions for toyotas? I tried searching but didn't find anything.

If I can accomplish disc brakes I can just swap an LSD for cheap or get an ARB locker in a few years.
