I usually sneak around the Toyotas and straight axle forums (dont hold that against me!!). Did the Discovery ever come with the turbo diesel in the US? I had to ask after reading about them in "Four Wheeler" and seeing that the mpg is near 30. Kinda makes me want to consider one "IF" the diesel can be had. Thanks in advance!! You're more than welcome to check them out. ECR says they dont convert Discos, but they did convert one of their own Discos to diesel. I guess they dont want to do that particular conversion for customers vehicles for whatever reason.
