Getting the Wheeling Fever
My GF has a 2001 Xterra with about 70k....My question is how often should the timing belt be changed and is this job a royal pain?.....I have looked at the engine and I don't see any major issues...thoughts?

Generally speaking, Timing Belts should be changed every 100,000 to 120,000 miles, whether it needs it or not. General Preventative maintenance.
