Juniper is a few miles NE of Pasco, off Pasco - Kahlotus Rd. It'll be a good drive for wet-siders.

Looks like they've been re-organizing and shuffelling the Oregon Region SCCA website. I'll look into getting my link to work again.

Seattle - Juniper = 250 miles, 4.5 hours.
Seattle - Beverly = 140 miles, 2.5 hours.

I don't mind the extra drive if the destination is worth it. Has any one been to Beverly AND Juniper?

I know Sean M, Craig M., Jesse, and myself have been to Juniper but I have not been to Beverly. You'd have to ask the above three if any of them have been to Beverly too.

I have been to both. At Juniper Dunes the dunes are bigger, wilder, steeper. For a one day run I am not sure that the fun factor is that much greater.

Does the majority like Beverly or Juniper? Sound off!

I'm interested i going, just don't think I will have the money for gas. Will let you know for sure closer to the date.

As I recall a John Deere is sometimes needed to rescue rigs there. It also was illegal to go there when I left, did that change? Also, yes...May 3rd is the set date.

Rats... my band's looking at playing for the Renaissance fair in Moscow either the 3rd or the 4th... it might not be a good idea for me to go and break something in my band's stuff-mover the day before we play, even if we can get the 4th to play on. Anyway, looks like I'm out. Lucky you guys, right <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

brandon,
i have a yellow cj-7 and my girlfriend jessica has a 99 amigo with a mild lift. there really isn't much to wheel around here, we live in kennewick, there are a few rocks to climb around on down at hover park near finley down by the river, its also known as honda heaven or honda hills...it also has some hill climbs. other than that i don't do any wheeling around here...but if anyone knows of anything else in this area that might be worth going to let me know.

i would like to bring the jeep to juniper but if i probably wont go through the trouble of taking it to beverly, i would have to trailer it there and i'm not convinced it would be worth it.
but the amigo is always up for some dunes....either place....still leaning towards juniper though...

KerB, My folks live in Kennewick, near what appears to be the enterance to some back country off of Olymipa? I've been meaning to scout it for some coyote hunting. Have you been in there? The area goes all the way to the river in 2 directions, and 395 in the other.
