...and what's the fun of speed, if you can't take it through the mud!
What shade of yellow is that after all???

Lots of hill climb opportunities here, too.

And a flex-test!

Trying the much larger dunes at the Saddle Mountain entrance, just around the corner from Beverly Dunes.

hey all, had a blast....after we left you guys up top, jess and i went looking for that trail that i had heard went from the dunes to the top that we looked for...i found it....it was where baxman said it go too brushy...i think a few other of you had gone over in that area too...we came down the hill and ended up at that part of the dune area...i don't know if we all would have made it up or not it was pretty hairy coming down and it was pretty brushy in one spot...the next time any of you are out there take the "s" or the "r" road out to the end and then go right it will take you down the hill to the big dunes! i am going to attempt the up hill next time i'm out there....it is verrrrryyyy steep and loose rocks for a long way.....not for the faint of heart...anyway had a blast with all of you...best memory of the day i think was when we were headed out for the second play area and coming across some of the whoopty doos i heard a thump thump and turned to see baxman about 4 feet off the ground just skying that vehicross! i am really suprised it break anything...too bad i didn't get a picture of that....there was sand flying all over
well here are some of our pics on webshots...this is my first time trying to add a link so let me know if it doesn't work....

It's a bummer that neither of you can come - but Kary - Thanks for that fabulous sand flag bracket! It's really simple in concept: it slides over my stock roof rack, thread the bolt & tighten the nuts and wa-la - a flag no one should miss!

And Keith, the up side is you did it- your first day as a paramedic - TOO COOL!

First day FULL TIME yes. And no, you never told me. So never mind, I guess I missed congratulating you on your first day.

I'm impressed that you found the right trails it was quite the guessing game on the way up... I found some nice slashes in my tires I'm lucky I didnt have a blowout on the way home...
I'll post as soon as I can get the pics scaned in the the PC

Hey all,
Russ and I had a great time too. I took 60 pictures and uploaded them to this address: http://webpages.charter.net/bohnas1/VehiCross/
You'll have to bring each one up individually and I had to shrink them to 800 X 600 to save space. If you want the larger version I have them in 1280 X 1024. Tell me which ones you want and I will email them to you. Have a great Navy Day!
