I might be there early on Friday...depends on my friends and their schedules. It looks like I'll have my sliders on, so I'm just gonna go for it on the mod trails Bumper damage wouldn't even bother me, nor would it be the first big smack to my rear bumper. I think I should probably take my hitch mount off..it's lower than the rest of the truck...or is that a rear-end slider?

did you all hear they captured the fellow in Murphy, NC who is suspected of several bombing incidents including the Atlanta Olympics?

maybe he's been wheeling at Tellico all this time ...

stony-man,
many wheelers i've wheeled with leave their hitch as a rock scraper to protect their bumper, they do seem to take the ball and pin out though ... i removed my hitch plate in order to improve my departure angle and in hopes of "customizing" my bumper on obstacles at Tellico and other trails, it worked, the lower part of my rear bumper now has a nice upward angle at both ends (no longer squared off at bottom) and i've finally ditched my end caps completely (kept falling off due to being totally rusted out and held on by only two screws each)
