Looks like i'm definitely on for Tellico... got the ok from work. I'll more than likely be towing the Rodeo up there with my new F250 arriving late Friday night.

Also got my brand new CV rear shaft installed which cured my driveline vibes. Dual tcases seem to be holding up well. I have to fix my front OX as it was not staying locked my last trip there. and i still have a bent tie rod from that trip, but i'm on schedule to make it.

See you guys there.

EDIT: what does the camping situation look like? seems like some at Camp #3. do we have a big group site? what about meeting times/places sat and sun morning for those who can't find/aren't staying with the group?

Sounds a lot like my future plans. Buy a tow rig/daily driver, then build the zu the way I want. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Some permanent employment would be nice to get first.

Hey Rodeo-Chris,
What kind of work are you looking for? I've got a friend that has been running the Adventure Center at Fontana Village Resort (not too far from you) for the last few years...he's quitting this September...the pay isn't TOO bad, and you can get a place to live there SUPER cheap if you want.

Tellico about 45mins from the town of Murphy, NC. So from Jacksonville, looks like you are looking at slightly over an 8 hour push.

Daniel lives in Washington, NC. I know there is a Jacksonville, NC somewhere near where he lives.

I'd have to agree with Rob. Gonna be a long haul from FL. It's possible, Chuck Venable from FL was there last time I was and I know Adam comes up to Uwharrie in NC from FL every now and then.
