ok.. i've a few maps that were faxed to me from the ranger stations.
the lady at amicalol faxed me some info that states anderson creek is no longer accessible via amicalola state park. i don't know why or if there is a gate. i assume it has to be somewhat open in order to get to that church. maybe its blocked off after that now.
i can only somewhat read these maps. i can fax them to anyone but scanning them in will make them illegible. the directions they give for getting there are from 52 but involve some side roads. not sure if those are the ones that get you to that gravel lunch spot. anyway.. that's all i could dig up so far.
if anyone wants these faxes let me know.

pulled this from southern jeeps website:
"Be aware that according to the Forrest Service, the Anderson Creek exit/entrance at the cycle shop (area of conflict with property owner) is indeed PRIVATE PROPERTY if you use that drive (without permission of the property owner) you are technically tresspassing. This information confirms the position of the property owner and explains why he has been so upset. Please do not use the drive without his permission.

Also, sad but true, the Newbicon is indeed no more. It too is private property...

This information is from our meeting with the FS today. More information on Anderson Creek to come shortly."
