Smiley here: On the Public Library computer (Mine is down for right now)

Not to worry Mike... I'll be bringing two large pots with me, so we should be covered on that front. --- I'll also be bringing lots of other useful stuff (Spices, cutlery, a huge cutting board, etc.)

I don't have an additional cooking surface though. Hopefully, someone else will be able to manage that.

With any luck, I'll have my computer up & running tonight (Wish me luck... It's been a real bugger tracking-down the problem, but I think I have it figured-out now. ) --- If not, I'll check-back tomorrow, on this public one, for any last-minute info before heading-out.

Cheerwine!

Count me in for fri & sat. I'll bring a table top propane grill and a small propane cookstove. Also, i've got an 8x10 canopy, TV/VCR, and fridge if needed.

Too bad no one has a Direct TV dish they could bring. I have a box but my 2 antennas are firmly attached!

This is gonna be a kick ass weekend!

(Well my computer is up and running again... A fresh installation of my OS, and a new 56K Hardware Modem, and I'm finally back in the swing of things. --- You've just gotta love those Fatal Sector Errors, huh? )

FOOD and OTHER CAMPING-RELATED CHATTER:

1) It now looks like I'll be bringing THREE large pots.
2) No DirectTV dish here (Sorry). --- How about a big box of coathangers?
3) (I don't think so, but...) Is there anything we've forgotten?

*** I'm relieved to see that there will be some firewood... My source of seasoned firewood is utterly soaked from all of the rain we've had this week, and probably wouldn't travel too well inside of the old Rodeo (Peeeee-U!) --- Umm... So Sam, just how big is a 'row' of firewood, anyhow? --- Do you think you'll have enough on-hand to supply more than one campsite, or should I still try to find some tomorrow, before I leave?

*** TrooperMark and company should be arriving at my house at about 9:30-10:00PM, and we'll be headed-out for Uwharrie shortly thereafter. --- Once we get there, we'll likely catch ourselves a little nap (either outside of the gate at Arrowhead, or in the parking lot of the country store, out on the main road), so if anyone sees us snoozing, please be sure to give us a wake-up call. (TIA)

*** Oh, and Doug... Kathy asked me to remind you again about bringing that cup. (Hey, don't shoot me... I'm just the messenger! )

Cheers!

If more people could bring fire wood that would be great... we could make a communal pile. Because the wood at the outpost is way to expensive.

Also if some one could bring a propane canister for my stove... for the pasta... that would be cool too.

Got the drinks today, wont be there until tommorrow night though. Six 12 packs (all that would fit in my cooler), two of those Doug will be happy to know are CHEERWINE.

I'm coming solo, g/f bailed today. So I'm planning to leave after class tommorrow.
