Man o man, dont you guys know a relationship should be a compromise. I watch trading spaces with my gf, get dragged along to cheezy "women" movies.

In trade she deals whille I get stuck in Mass for day on end with a broken truck.

Ok yeah who am I kidding, she was pissed at me too. But was very sympathetic about me being stuck with the situation.

dough, tell us how the day went after I left...it was a longgg drive home. Another mile & I would have been DWA (Driving While Asleep)!

Shad, sorry to hear about that. Guess you'll have to do some big time kissin' up now!

Roll Me Over
Shad, if she was that pissed because you got home late from a day of harmless fun....well, I can't say that I'd blame you thinking that you'd be better off without her.

Doug, give us the story! Or are you writing it up into a real trip report?

Lets just say towing an over loaded uhaul... 6500 pounds or so, with a trooper is doable. But it is slooooow going. Lets also say that they wouldnt have been able to do that on route two.

And lets also say I trashed a pair of mtrs bad.

It wasn't *that* bad! Glad to help though. I was pretty impressed that we were able to maintain 60-65mph. Remember when using a u-haul trailer check the TP of the trailer tires before beginning your journey! Sticky tires are bad.

Also managed to get 10.5mpg which is pretty good considering the load.

Not only was the trailer over loaded, but they also had ALL tires underfilled dangerously. I think its only by luck they didnt blow.
