Allright, I am half talked into it. I think 158 miles is a little far for the 4 runner since I haven't really had a chance to test her full highway capabilities. However the S-10 is ready to go. What am I lookin at as far as scratches, and such? My S-10 is a stock ZR-2, it will go but is not a rockcrawler. How hardcore are these trails? Will I be able to hang with what you guys are runnin?

Guy~have you been on these trails before?

No, I haven't been on any of the trails that Greg will take us on. However, I'm very sensible, and won't get you stuck in "scratchville" with the S10- <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

I've done my own re-con around a few different parts up there, and as far as fun wheeling, its hard to beat VT. So, give it a go.

Right Greg? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />

Greg - How did the scouting go today? Hopefully you found 1 or both of the intended trails without too much trouble.
My buddy with the Exploder & his friend with a recently lifted Jeep are interested in coming along Sunday for some good Vermont wheeling.

Wow, the content of this thread has completely changed from "Wheeling with a Kia".

Ok guys, sorry, it's been a hectic couple of days.
Cojo, I'll email you so we can coordinate and yes, I did get to do some scouting today and found a whole bunch of interconnected trails down in the lower section I mentioned.

Ari and I are going back there tomorrow so I can nail down some good loops or routes. I took some pictures which I'll process and post in a new topic here after I get Ari to bed, just to give you guys an idea of the topography.

Guy - Right! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Actually, it's hard to avoid going through areas that have some bordering branches, but they can be held back or something... I'll email you tonight. Wanna come with us to scout tomorrow? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

I guess we should talk about where to meet. I think that anyone who is not meeting here who is coming from the south through N. Adams should maybe meet up around the intersection of 8, 9 and 100. Or we could meet in Brattleboro if you are coming up 91. I'll post directions to a good meeting place tonight and will firm up the actual routes tomorrow.
