It would just think that the door is open if the circuit is open or if the door isn't there. I thought the electric "dinger" is somewhere under the dash - I don't think it uses the speakers to make the ding.

So you could say I'm very surprised it doesn't ding constantly, like most vehicles do when you take the doors off. I've seen it a couple times with my friends in other vehicles. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> Typically the first thing to figure out is how to make it think the door is there so you don't burn up the dome light and you don't go crazy with the dinging. I know you can simply turn off our dome light, which is awesome.
