Here's my barebones report. I put the pics up in the "Wheeling" section with captions. Anyone who wants the big originals let me know by filename. The old link now redirects you to the new page which is here:

Lennie(4Runner), Lonewolf(Pathfinder), Hopa2000(Passport) and my daughter Ari and I(Hardbody) met up in southeast Vermont for a day of wheeling. We basically crisscrossed a range near Putney, VT and then went out to the "Mud Trail" and "Water Trail" to play in the muck.

Everyone did well, as far as I know Geoff bent his tailpipe, Lennie cracked his step, Roger bent his step back so it was rubbing on his rear tire and had some engine pulley noise and I did some more TRE and fender damage. In short, nothing too serious. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Well, here's my barebones report. I put the pics up in the "Wheeling" section with captions. Anyone who wants the big originals let me know by filename. The old link now redirects you to the new page which is here:

HCMP(Amigo), Lonewolf(Pathfinder) and I(Hardbody) met up in southeast Vermont for another day of wheeling. We went out to the "Mud Trail", took a side trail down and headed north for a bit to check out some trails we saw on the topo. We found a couple of trails - one with a stream crossing and some hillclimbs and plenty of "logcrawling". I think Jeremy might have bent something under his rig by getting a bunch of logs jammed up there.

Later in the day after Jeremy left, Geoff and I played around on some more local trails. Near dusk, Geoff ended up popping a bead on his tire. It had been raining for hours but it began to pour around then. Geoff ended up having some tierod damage and so did I. We each had some other damage but nothing too bad. The worst part for me was cleaning the mud off.

A typical HCMP parking spot:

Lonewolf crossing a stream:

A little off-camber in the rainy dusk:
